I became interested in complementary therapies many years ago through my own dis-ease. I qualified as a Reflexologist in 1989 and studied Reiki I and II in 1990, and in 2000 became a Reiki Master and Teacher. I am now on the register of Approved Reiki Master Teachers with the Complementary Therapy Association (CThA) previously called the International Guild of Professional Practitioners. I have also studied Social Work, qualifying in 1991 and practised as a social worker for about 10 years with my main remit being counselling. I gained a Post-Graduate Certificate in Counselling Skills in 1997, and also studied Core Process Psychotherapy and Trans-personal Psychology at foundation level. I qualified with a Diploma in Cranio-Sacral Therapy in 1999 and have regular supervision and ongoing postgraduate training including CST courses for working with babies. I am also qualified in Indian Head Massage.
